Abstract

The penetration of electromagnetic fields into the interior of cabinets housing electronic or computer equipment is reduced by eliminating gaps in the structure of the cabinet. Obstacle devices are placed at the points of fixture of the side panels. Lines of the electromagnetic field (3) must control around the obstacle to reach the interior. Right-angled brackets (4) form a vertical channel of rectangular section. The end of the connecting side panel (1) has a double right-angled fold which fits over the projecting channel and screws to it. At the corner join between two side panels (2,5) a right-angled section is welded on to fit over the join.
