Abstract

Connection for a tubular column made from elements fixed end-to-end, permitting introduction of a flexible line, such as a tube for cable, inside the column, and consisting of a tubular body with ends which can be connected to the tubular column, has a hole pierced through its side wall, inclined to the junction axis for the flexible line to pass through and a sealing arrangement to ensure sealing during the passage of the flexible line through the hole. Specifically, the hole has a constant dia. and has a movable liner housed in sealed manner in the hole. Appts. for fixing the liner is provided. The flexible line passes through the liner, the central part of which has an ID equal to the OD of the flexible line. Devices for sealing and immobilisation of the flexible line are carried by the liner. Wear on the flexible line at the point of entry into the tubular column is prevented or at least greatly reduced.
