Abstract

The water to water heat pump has the compressor (1) mounted directly on the frame (4). The evaporator (2) is in the form of a cylindrical coil arranged around the compressor. The condenser (3) is also in the form of a cylindrical coil of larger diameter than the evaporator and mounted concentrically around the latter with a closed cell plastics foam injected between the coils.
