Abstract

The animal feeder has a conical roof which drains any water away from the fodder and a receptacle under the roof for retaining the fodder. The peripheral wall of the receptacle has spaced openings permitting passage of the cattle's heads. The lower part of the wall is solid to stop the animals' feet from treading in the fodder. A hinged door permits the feeder to be refilled and four supporting legs keep it raised off the ground. The whole unit is portable and can be hitched to a tractor.
