Abstract

PROCTOLOGICAL TRIM
The invention relates to a proctological lining, intended for people with more or less significant anal losses, in particular of the hemorrhoidal or hemorrhagic type following, for example, a proctological intervention.

 The subject of the invention is therefore a proctological lining characterized in that it consists of a delimited complex sheet comprising at least one absorbent layer and, on the face opposite to that receiving the losses, at least one layer impermeable to liquids but permeable to air, said face having at least two adhesive zones vws one on the other located on either side of a longitudinal folding axis so as to come to be superimposed when the lining is folded in two along the said axis to maintain the lining in the folded state allowing it to be placed inside the gluteal fold.

 By its adhesive zones is meant, according to the invention, two zones which adhere to each other when brought into superposition. In order to constitute these adhesive zones, it is possible, for example, to use an adhesive of the type used on the periodic linings, the two zones thus coated adhering to one another when they are superimposed. In this embodiment, the adhesive zones can advantageously be protected before use using, for example, a separable silicone protective sheet. As a variant, it is possible to use a special glue adhering only to itself such as for example the glue used for the self-adhesive envelopes. In this case, it is not necessary to use a silicone protective sheet.

 In another embodiment, only one of the zones has an adhesive, the other being made of a material against which the adhesive sticks after folding, and which may, moreover, be the material constituting the together the face opposite to the face receiving the losses, ie the visible face after folding.

 In the preferred embodiment, the adhesive material is simply placed in the form of lines or bands perpendicular to the folding axis which thus divides each band into two half-bands which form said adhesive zones.

 In a particularly preferred manner, it is possible to provide two parallel strips spaced from one another.

 The non-passable layer (s), that is to say impermeable to liquids, may further consist for example of nonwoven fabric, such as for example a 100% material of untreated polypropylene, or of a hydrophobic wadding, or of any other material having the desired characteristics.

 Advantageously, the wind-absorbent layer or layers may be produced in the same way as in known periodic linings, the layer being for example made of wood pulp.

 Preferably, the face of the lining which receives the losses, that is to say the face which remains visible after folding, consists of a layer of permeable material which can moreover advantageously surround the assembly of the filling in the manner of a sheath so as to also form the most superficial layer of the other side which carries. the adhesive areas.

 The thickness of the layer of absorbent material is preferably> in the uncompressed state, at least equal to 2 mm and at most equal to 9 ms, the very thickness of the lining, before folding, preferably being order of 7 ma.

With particular reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, it can be seen that the illustrated proctological lining is in the form of a substantially rectan complex sheet

 The dimensions of the packing can vary depending on requirements. However, the length, in the direction of the axis 7 is preferably between 12 cl and 25 cm, the width being preferably between 6 cm and 15 cm.

 Of course, the invention which has just been described can be the subject of numerous variants. Thus, the arrangement of the adhesive zones can be considerably varied. The strips such as 8, instead of being continuous, may be discontinuous and then take the form of two ventilated zones each in one half of the filling. The number of these bands or their shape can vary, it being understood that their arrangement is always such that the shapes shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 can be obtained.

 Similarly, the materials used can also vary without departing from the scope or the spirit of the invention.
