Abstract

The universal jig uses metal sections (1,2) and platens (3,4) and assists centering, redressing, blocking, re-aligning and measuring etc. of chassis, decks, bodies and masonry construction. The metal sections and platens may be connected by bolts so that they intersect, are juxtaposed or are superimposed. The plates may be mounted on rollers or fixed and the sections and plates may include graduated scales whilst locating different fasteners and accessories.
