Abstract
Description
The invention which will be described below relates to a new device for protecting motor vehicles against theft making it possible to detect the intrusion of an individual into the passenger compartment
Many protection systems exist, but they have several types of drawbacks:
- Difficult assembly, requiring numerous connections or electrical system of the vehicle.
- Risques de faux déclenchements. - Risk of false trips.
- Coûts de fabrication élevés. - High manufacturing costs.
- No deterrent effect, the presence of an anti-theft system cannot be offset from the outside
The object of the present invention is to provide a sbr and efficient system which can be manufactured for a very low cost price and which perceptibly manifests the fact that the vehicle is protected by an alarm system.
La description sera illustréepar la planche ci-après. The description will be illustrated by the plate below.
The device detects variations in the level of a sound signal emitted by an electronic circuit and a sound transmitter, and collected by an electro-acoustic sensor.
The sensor consists of a quartz pellet resonating at a frequency of the order of 6000Ht. An amplifier consists of two Linearized CMOS inverters (1 and 2) transmits the signal to the acoustic transmitter, which consists of a quartz tablet identical to the sensor
The quartz pellets are enclosed in a small plastic case pierced with a hole to improve its acoustic performance, and the case is fixed to the printed circuit supporting the components by means of a block of light and not very rigid material , expanded polyethylene for example, so as not to disturb the resonance frequency of the quartz
The whole oscillates at the proper resonant frequency of the quartz when the usage coefficient is sufficient.
The frequency chosen is in the audible range. It is high enough to be very strongly attenuated by the windows and sheets of the vehicle, but the sound is however from the outside.
perceptible
Therefore, we know, when approaching a vehicle, if it is equipped with the device.
The sound level thus created in the passenger compartment depends very closely on the reverberation conditions.
Conditions vary greatly when a body enters or moves inside the passenger compartment.
The amplitude of the signal, collected at A, is rectified and amplified by circuit 3, then is again amplified by circuit 4 and the operational amplifier 5.
The voltage variations at the output thereof are transmitted by a capacitor at the base of a transistor 6. When this transistor is saturated, a current flows through resistor 7. This resistor has a value low enough to cause a measurable voltage drop at the vehicle battery (a few tens of millivolts). This drop in voltage can therefore trigger an alarm system which measures the battery voltage, a device which currently exists on the market.
By connecting to point 8, you can also trigger other types of alarm, which are triggered by grounding one of their inputs.
