Abstract

An electronic amplifier circuit amplifies audio (6kHz) signals received by a quartz crystal receiver and applies the signals to a quartz crystal transmitter operating at the same frequency. Sustained oscillations in the circuit are maintained by audio feedback between transmitter and receiver crystals. The presence of a person in the vehicle cabin reduces the audio feedback and this reduction is detected and amplified by an operational amplifier circuit whose output is used to drive a transistor pair which activates an alarm and also draws large current from the battery to prevent starting of the vehicle. The amplifier circuit comprises two CMOS inverters. The quartz crystals are enclosed in a perforated plastics package.

De nombreux systemes de protection existent, mais ils présentent plusieurs types d'inconvénients :
