Abstract

The stylographic pen is designed for easy holding by a child when first learning to write. It is formed in three sections bent into a Z-pattern (1,2,3), the nib section (2) being at an acute angle to the top end section (1). This nib section can be at an angle of between 90 and 150 deg., preferably 120 deg., to the middle one (3), while the angle between the middle section and the end section can be between 45 and 90 deg., preferably 85 deg. The pen can have a nib or a ballpoint tip. The pen pref. has a uniform thickness throughout its length.

Description

 The present invention relates generally to a tensile device for writing and in particular to a stylographer.

 Usually, stylographs, whether ball-point, pen, pen or the like, or even pencils, have a substantially straight body. However, it turns out that young children, especially at the start of school, find it difficult to keep their pens properly. Poor behavior at the start generates habits which the schoolboy can practically no longer get rid of afterwards. It is therefore of the utmost importance to teach him at an early age to hold this instrument properly. This decent t requires learning, which some children find difficult to militate quickly.

 The object of the invention is to produce a stylographer whose outfit requires practically no learning on the part of the child, vt its shape is well suited to the hand of the schoolboy, the hollow formed between the louse forefinger when the child holds the utensil, constitutes a perfect and well-defined seat for the latter.

 This object is achieved by the present invention due to the fact that 1 stylographer is characterized in that its body comprises three folded sections in the form of Z, the extreme branches of which are arranged in such a way that the length of the first branch carrying the writing tip forms with the extreme branch an acute angle.

 The present invention will be better understood with reference to 1; description of an exemplary embodiment and of the appended drawing which represents, by way of nonlimiting example, a particular embodiment of the device according to the invention.

 Referring to the figure, which represents a ballpoint pen whose body 1 is made up of three sections 2, 3 and 4 folded in the shape of a Z mant two elbows 5 and 6.

 The first extreme branch 2, that is to say the one carrying the writing tip, which in the example described is a ball point, forms with the general direction of the second extreme branch 4 an acute angle 0.

The central branch 3 or branch connecting the two extreme branches 2 and forms on the one hand with the first extreme branch 2 an angle P whose value is preferably between 900 and 1500, the ideal value obtained worsened by numerous tests being close to 1200. This central branch 3 f moreover with the second extreme branch 4 an angle e preferably comF between 450 and 900 and whose ideal value is close to 850.

 The length of the central branch 3 is calculated in such a way that a child who presses the end of the thumb and forefinger on the opposite SIDES of the first extreme branch 2, has the back of the second ext 4 branch pressed against the bottom of the hollow formed between the root of the thumb and that of the index finger in this way, the stylographer has a perfect and clearly defined seat, which prevents the child from holding this utensil at an angle, and consequently from adopting a poor behavior of the 'instrument.

 Of course, the stylographer according to the invention can have different variants. The simplest example corresponds to the example described.

A ballpoint pen of the conventional type has been modified so that its body takes the above-mentioned form. For mass production, the body of the aforementioned stylographer will be manufactured by molding of thermoformable material, according to techniques known per se.
Furthermore, although the body of the stylographer as shown in the figure has a substantially uniform thickness, the invention also applies to bodies of the stylographer whose general appearance is different.

In particular, the ball point can be replaced by a feather, a felt or even a pencil, the ink reserves then being adapted in a manner known per se to the writing tip chosen.

Stylographer characterized in that its body consists of three sections folded in the form of.Z, the extreme branches of which are arranged in such a way that the extension of the extreme branch carrying a writing tip forms with the other extreme branch an acute angle.  2. Stylographer according to claim 1, characterized in that said first extreme branch forms with the central branch an angle between 900 and 15b, and preferably close to 1200.  3. Stylograph according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the central branch and the second extreme branch form an angle between 45 thread and 900, and preferably close to 850.  4. Stylograph according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the writing tip comprises a ball.  5.
