Abstract

The indicator is for liquid or paste held in a container (9). It consists of a three dimensional representation in colour of two or more fruits (2,3) forming the basis of the substance held. In addition, there can be indications of taste, or colour. The artificial fruits are made of synthetic moulded material and can also have artificial leaves (6) corresponding to those of the actual plant or tree. The present invention relates to a device for indicating the type of product, in liquid or pasty form, contained in a bottle, a bottle or any other container.

The device according to the invention does not replace conventional labels which can bear the mark and the usual indications relating to the product, such as its composition, instructions for use, etc .; but the device makes it possible to constitute an auxiliary means by which any person of a country and of any language will be able directly and without passing by a linguistic concept, to apprehend intellectually the characteristics of the product.

For example, if the device according to the invention represents an olive and a lemon, the buyer or the consumer will instantly deduce that it is in the presence of an oil scented with lemon essence.

We can thus use multiple variants in which a plurality of fruits will indicate the fundamental element while other fruits will evoke secondary characteristics such as aromatic essence, color or other.

Other characteristics of the invention will emerge from the description which follows and which is given in relation to a nonlimiting embodiment with reference to the appended drawings in which FIG. 1 represents a perspective view of an embodiment of the invention using the representation of an olive and a lemon mounted on a fixing ring.

The indicating device according to the invention comprises, in the embodiment of FIG. 1, a flexible ring 1 which serves as support and connection and to which the fruits 2 and 3 are connected.

Fruit 2 represents an olive and it is accompanied by olive leaves 6 while fruit 3 represents a lemon; both are made with the characteristic shapes and colors of the product.

FIG. 3 shows a variant in which the fruits are secured by the eyelets 5 of a ring, ring or carabiner 10 which is itself attached to the body of the container 9.

FIG. 5 finally shows a last embodiment presented here by way of example in which the indicating device according to the invention is simply enclosed in a bag (preferably a transparent bag) and it is thus associated with the container 9 and it found visible from the outside through the wall of the transparent bag 11.

The elements which constitute the indicator device according to the invention are advantageously made of plastic material which makes it possible to obtain the effects of colors and reliefs of the fruits which it is desired to represent.

 As indicated above, the associated fruits in the indicator system aim to designate in a clear and directly accessible to all people regardless of any language problems, the characteristics of the product and which relate on the one hand to the basic substance, or to the various basic substances of the product as well as to the substances which can be incorporated as additives to obtain a modification of the aromatic, palatable, colored, olfactory characteristics, etc.

The invention can be carried out independently of the material, the shape, and the dimension of the elements which constitute the device; just as we can.

Claims (9)

1.- Indicating device for product in liquid or pasty form and contained in a container, characterized in that it consists of a three-dimensional representation, with the appropriate colors and configuration of two or more dummy fruits corresponding to the substance basic of the product contained, this representation of one or more artificial fruits being itself accompanied by the representation of one or more artificial fruits corresponding to an additional characteristic such as the flavor, color or any other characteristic of the product, this device being associated with the container in such a way that the mere view of the whole makes it possible to transmit an exact idea of the characteristics of the product contained. 2. An indicator device according to claim 1, characterized in that the dummy fruits are made of molded synthetic material. 3. Indicator device according to one of claims 1 or 2 above, characterized in that one or more of the dummy fruits are associated with the representation of dummy leaves corresponding to the fruit producing plant. 4. An indicator device according to one of claims 1, 2 or 3 above, characterized in that the dummy fruits are joined together so as to form a bouquet. 5. An indicator device according to one of claims 1 to 4 above, characterized in that each dummy fruit is associated with a link ending in an eyelet for the purpose of fixing the fruit on the container or container. 6. An indicator device according to any one of claims 1 to 5 above, characterized in that the dummy fruits are connected to a ring secured to the closure cap of the container or container. 7.
