L'OBJET DE L'INVENTION CONCERNE UN IMPLANT SOUPLE SYNTHETIQUE EN SILICONE. IL EST CONSTITUE PAR UN IMPLANT EN SILICONE SOUPLE AVEC MASSE D'ANCRAGE 1 SPHERIQUE COMBINEE A UNE SURFACE PLANE ELLIPSOIDALE 2 CORRESPONDANT A LA PERIPHERIE SYMETRIQUE JOINTIVE DES ELEMENTS OSSEUX SEPARES. IL EST DESTINE A ETRE INTERPOSE DANS UN FOYER DE FRACTURE ANCIENNE DU SCAPHOIDE (OS DU CARPE) AFIN DE SUPPRIMER LA DOULEUR DE PSEUDARTHROSE PROVOQUEE PAR CETTE FRACTURE NON CONSOLIDEE.

Description

L'objet de l'invention concerne un implant souple synthétique en silicone.
Il est destiné à être interposé dans un foyer de fracture ancienne du scaphoide (os du carpe) afin de supprimer la douleur de pseudarthrose provoquée par cette fracture non consoli- des
Il arrive que certaines fractures du scaphoïde passent inaperçues. Ces fractures ne consolident pas spontanément. Au bout d'un certain temps s'installe un tableau de pseudarthrose, avec son cortège de douleurs des au frottement des deux fragments osseux non consolidés.
Pour suprimer cette douleur, seule une intervention chirurgicale par greffe osseuse avec immobilisation platrée de plusieurs mois peut assurer la guérison de cette affection.
L'objet de l'invention supprime cet inconvénient et permet par le positionnement d'une prothèse en silicone souple à sta- baliser aa fracture et supprimer définitivement les douleurs
Il est constitue' par un implant en silicone souple avec masse d'ancrage sphérique combine à une surface plane elipsoida- le correspondant à la phériphérie symétrique jointive des éléments osseux séparés.

L'implant figures 1 et 2, est constitué par une masse d' ancrage sphérique 1 en silicone souple. Cette masse est enserrée dans une couronne périphérique, lamellaire 2 en même matière. Cette surface 2 est également en silicone souple ; elle a un profil correspondant à celui de la partie osseuse sectionnée.
Le scaphoide os du carpe est généralement séparé en deux parties 3 et 4, par la fracture.
Cette séparation, sectionnant également les vaisseaux nourrisseurs, déminéralise au bout de quelques mois ces mêmes fragments.
Il se forme alors de part et d'autre des cavités 5, 6 et une dégradation des surfaces mobiles en contact.
Ce frottement continu provoque alors une douleur de pseudarthrose.
L'application de l'implant supprime ce frottement.
Il suffit de faire pénétrer la masse d'ancrage 1 dans les cavités 5, 6 t en écartant légèrement les parties 3, 4 et de les laisser se rapprocher normalement.
La surface 2 recouvre la périphérie de la cavité et s'interpose entre les deux fragments.
Elle joue le rôle d'une garniture à la fois jointive et amortisseuse.
L'intervention chirurgicale est de très courte durée, elle évite non seulement une souffrance prolongée, mais surtout la greffe avec près de trois mois d'immobilisation par plâtre.
Toutefois les matières utilisées pourront varier dans la limite des équivalents, sans changer pour cela la conception générale de l'invention qui vient d'être décrite

Claims (2)

    REVENDICATIONS 10 Dispositif prothétique formant un implant souple synthétique destiné à être intégré dans un foyer de fracture ancienne du scaphoïde (os du carpe) afin de supprimer la douleur de pseudarthrose se caractérisant par un élément en silicone souple constitué par une masse d'ancrage sphérique implantée à sa partie médiane dans une surface plane périphérique de section ellipsoldale.
  1. 20 Dispositif suivant la revendication 1 se caractérisant par le fait que la surface périphérique lamellaire en silicone souple a un profil corespondant à celui des secteurs séparés du scaphoïde entre lesquels elle s'interpose.
  2. 30 Dispositif suivant la revendication 1 se caractérisant par le fait que la masse d'ancrage sphérique mono-pièce constitue deux demi sphères dont les diamètres et rayons correspondent aux cavités osseuses symétriques du scaphoïde.
