Abstract

Marine culture support for raising shellfish, fish, crustaceans etc. described use of frames covered with heat-shrunk plastic films. This addn. describes addn. forms for such structures specifically (1) sheet thermoformed into a ribbed or corrugated form and then welded or stapled to a supporting frame; (2) blister film held in parallel layers by spacer bars, or rolled to form an open coil, and tethered to wts. on the sea bed; (3) film supported as flat, serpentine layers by spacer bars having convex crests and concave bases to grip the film when supported by tie bars set in a frame on the sea bed. Opt. the borders of the film are reinforced by struts of polypropylene.

Description

Le Brevet NO 7832220 décrit un ensemble modulaire de volume variable soude par enveloppement dans un film plastique thermorétractable, et tout specialement destiné au repeuplement côtier. Patent No. 7832220 describes a modular assembly of variable volume welded by wrapping in a heat-shrinkable plastic film, and especially intended for coastal restocking.
