Abstract

The device for supporting growing plants consists of a plate which is inserted in the bottom of the pot, with an internally threaded hole for a tube to act as a plant stake. The tube has holes through it, into which can be fitted horizontal supports. Liquid can be poured through the tube, to feed the plant, and this can be discharged sideways through perforations through the tube below the level of the soil in the pot. Similarly a hollow tube can be buried in the earth, attached to a base, for a young tree. Pellets can also be inserted through a hole in the tube. Further sections can be added.
