Abstract

The two-way spirit level is built into the back of a portable power drill, permitting the truly horizontal or vertical alignment of the drill bit. It comprises a sealed (6) e.g. cuboid translucid capsule (5) with a base flange and with part spherical internal depressions (3,4) in one wall and the invert, being installed in a drill housing socket. The capsule is part filled with liquid (2) to provide a bubble (1), and contains a diagonal mirror (M) which may be mounted on a tapered plug. The bubble gravitates into the centre of depressions (3,4) to indicate vertical and horizontal bit alignment respectively, the former image being reflected to the eyepiece by the mirror.

L'objet de la présente invention est un accessoire se montant sur les petites perceuses électriques ( ou me pneumatiques ) portatives se te- nant à la main. The object of the present invention is an accessory mounted on small portable electric (or pneumatic) drills held by hand.

Donc lorsque la perceuse sera horizontale, la bulle viendra se lo ger au sommet de cette deuxième surface et pour voir la bulle à travers le repère de la première surface, il suffira alors de placer convenablement un miroir à 45 O à l'intérieur du niveau ( figure 4 ).
