Abstract

THE INVENTION COMES INTO THE FIELD OF LEAF HANDLING. RECEPTACLE FOR A STACK OF SHEETS IN A SHEET DISPENSING MACHINE, CONSISTING OF A PARALLELEPIPEDIC BOX WITH A MOBILE FACE AROUND ONE OF ITS SIDES, CHARACTERIZED IN THAT IT HAS A PLATE LINKED TO THE FACE OF THE INTERIOR SIDE AND CAN SLIDE SLIGHTLY AGAINST THIS FACE IN A DIRECTION PERPENDICULAR TO THE ROTATION AXIS OF THE MOBILE FACE, MEANS BEING PROVIDED ON THE PLATE AND ON THE SAID FACE COOPERATING WITH A MANEUVERING TOOL TO ACHIEVE THE SLIDING PLATE OF THE PLATE, ALSO INCLUDING MEANS COOPERATING WITH THE SAID BOX IN A WAY TO REALIZE THE CLOSING OF THE SAID MOBILE FACE, A LOCKING BODY IN CLOSED POSITION BEING FURTHER PROVIDED, WHICH IS EQUIPPED WITH A BODY ENSURING THE INCREMENTATION OF A TOTALIZER COUNTER INSIDE THE BOX, AS SOON AS UNLOCKING IS ACHIEVED, SUCH UNLOCKING IS ASSURED BY THIS OPERATING TOOL. THE INVENTION APPLIES IN PARTICULAR TO BANK NOTE DISTRIBUTION MACHINES.

Description

The present invention relates to a receptacle for a stack of sheets

  in a vending machine of leaves; consisting of a parallel box

  the elepipedic having a face, movable around one of its sides allowing

  the leaf supply of the receptacle.

  In leaf vending machines and in particular cash dispensers, it is desirable that

  banknote opening maneuvers are automatically counted.

  this allows, in addition, the person authorized to supply

  the machine to check that no opening or attempt to open

receptacle has been made.

  The invention therefore relates to a receptacle for a stack of sheets

  in a leaf-dispensing machine consisting of a parallel box

  According to one embodiment of the invention, said means of the plate cooperating with said box so as to close said movable face comprise a recess made in the upper part of a lateral rim of said plate covering a part of a side face of the boot, the axis of said notch being parallel to the direction of sliding of the plate, said notch cooperating with a lug worn

  by said side face of the boot.

  For ticket extraction, said movable face comprises a slot, said plate also a slot coinciding with the slot of the moving face

  when said plate is in position allowing the opening of said face.

  According to another characteristic of the invention, the receptacle further comprises a lock independent of said closing means of said movable face ensuring the closure of the boot even when the slots of the plate

and the moving side coincide.

  According to a particular embodiment of the invention, said latch comprises a tongue, fixed perpendicularly to the upper edge of said movable face, pierced with a hole and a leaf spring fixed by one of its ends.

  consists of a parallelepiped box 1 having a face 2 forming a lid. This face is movable around a lower hinge 3 and is used to feed the receptacle in banknotes and also for distribution to customers, for this purpose, the movable face 2 has a slot> 4. It also includes a slot 5 for the reintroduction into the receptacle of the discarded notes that is to say those that have been extracted simultaneously in multiple copies. The face 2 also comprises a window 6 allowing the passage of the rollers of the extraction mechanism

  tickets during the introduction of the receptacle in its functional housing.

  The movable face 2 comprises a closing device comprising a plate 7 which can slide slightly against the moving face 2 by being guided by two pins 8 and 9. This sliding plate T comprises a lateral flange 10 having at its upper part a notch it intended to cooperate, when the plate 7 is in the high position, with a lug 12 carried by a side wall 13 of the boot 1 and thus in the closed position, the movable front face 2. In the lower position, as shown in Figure 1, the notch is disengaged from the lug 12, and the slots> 4 and 5 of the movable front face 2 are in coincidence with similar slots of the sliding plate 7 thus allowing the distribution of notes to customers. So that in this position, the front 2 remains

  nevertheless closed, a lock is arranged at the upper part of the face 2.

  This lock, clearly visible in particular in Figures 3, 6 and 8, comprises a leaf spring 1> 4 fixed at one of its ends to the upper wall 15 of the receptacle 1. A lug 16 fixed to the blade 1> 4 cross, in the locked position, a hole 17 of a tongue 18 fixed to the movable front face 2 and a hole 19 of the upper wall 15. A push button 20, fixed on the leaf spring 1> 4 and passing through the upper wall 15 through a hole 21, allows to operate

  the latch and disengage the lug 16 of the holes 17 and 19 to open the face 2.

  When the sliding plate 7 is in the high position, the slots 14 and 5 being obstructed, a locking device prevents the sliding

down the plate 7.

  This locking device, more particularly visible in FIG. 2, in the locked position, and in FIG. 7 in the unlocked position, consists of a leaf spring 22 fixed at one of its ends to the movable front face 2, and a penetrating pin 23, when the plate 7 is in the up position, in a hole 2> 4 of the plate 7 and a hole 25 of the front face

  This locking member is provided with an incrementing member of a totalizing counter 26. The incrementing member is constituted by a rod 27

  therefore automatically drives the incrementation of the counter 26.

  To enable the plate 7 to be unlocked and lowered downwards, in order to make it possible to distribute the notes through the slot 4 and to release the notch 11 from the pin 12 to open the front face 2 by pressing the push button 20, the sliding plate has a circular orifice 30 located at the spring blade 22 and the front face 2 an orifice consisting of a circular portion 31 of the same diameter as the orifice 30, extended by a rectangular portion 32 of a width smaller than the diameter of the circular portion 31. The introduction of a tool 33, such as that shown in FIG. 2, fixed on an operating lever 34, or such that, portable, shown in FIG. 9 allows to unlock the plate 7 by pushing the leaf spring 22, thus releasing the pin 23, which results in

  incrementing the counter 26, and pressing the tool down.

  The operation is as follows: When we have just filled the ticket receptacle, we close the front face 2 by pressing the button 20 (see Fig. 9) to allow the tongue 18 to enter the box. The pushbutton 20 is then released so that the lug 16 comes to lock the face 2. Then, the portable tool 33 is raised so as to slide the sliding plate 7 upwards and to make the notch 11 come "to cap" the lug 12. It can then remove the tool 33, the circular orifices 30 and 31 coinciding, which allows the lug 23 under the effect of the spring 22 to enter the orifices 24

and 25.

  The receptacle is then carried in its functional housing, see fig. 2, and pushed until the tool 33 is fully seated in the orifices 24,

  and raising the end 35 of the lever 33 to lower the slide plate

  7 to align the slots 4 and 5 of the front face 2 with those corresponding, not marked, of the plate 7 thus allowing the distribution

tickets to customers.

  Of course, the introduction of the box in its housing unlocks the plate 7 by the introduction of the tool 33 which presses the spring 22

and incrementing the counter 26.

  In Figures 2, 3 and 4, the receptacle is closed and locked

  plate 7 raised and locked.

  In Figures 5, 6 and 7 the receptacle is closed and locked the

  plate 7 unlocked and lowered.

  In FIG. 8, the receptacle is ready for opening, plate 7 unlocking

  FIGS. 2 and 7 show that the lever 34-35 is fixed pivoting about an axis 36 on a partition 37 separating, for example, another receptacle, not shown, situated on the other side of the partition 37.

Claims (5)
