Abstract

The loading arm assembly consists of two pairs of hinged pipes which are joined to a common base (c). The base supports a pipe (6) with a swivel (1) at the top of the pipe. The system is fitted with a counterbalance weight (22) fitted to the end of an arm. The counterweight is connected to a pulley wheel having a belt (22) which connects with a second pulley at the end of the arms (20A1) and (B1).
