Abstract

The brush comprises a cylinder (3) with metal wire bristles (4) which is rolled across the surface to be treated. The cylinder (3) may be rotated by friction or via a miniature electric motor and the brush is attached via electromagnets to a handle. Heated air is oassed around the cylinder (3) during carding and the dust is removed by rolling the brush along the ground or via a small motor incorporated in the handle. Pref. the brush cylinder (3) is enclosed by a protective casing (15) with the warm air supplied to the interior of this. The casing has a duct across the top, with the warm air at one end and to the full length of the brush cylinder (3). The dust removal device is attached to the casing (15) or to the handle (16), which pref. incorporates the motor for rotation of the brush cylinder (3).

Description

The present invention relates to a manual, rolling card used for the maintenance and renovation of furs, carpets, carpets with long pile or the like.

The cylinder could also be rotated by a small electric motor, especially when it comes to renovating carpets or rugs.

The tinned metal strands could also, depending on the usefulness and the use, be replaced by flexible or rigid plastic hair or strands.

These strands could be mounted on a removable sleeve fitting onto the cylinder.

 The cylinder itself perforated in places could receive a hot air blower or a dust extraction.

 FIG - I - represents as a whole, the rotary manual card itself, showing in (I) the handle in which an axis (2) extending to the end (I2) of the card allows it to be able to turn on itself. FIG - 5 - alternatively represents another method of latching the rotary cylinder of the card. This consists of a cylinder (3) pierced with a longitudinal central hole inside which will be inyroduit a tube or sleeve (9). In this tube slides an axis (2) on which the cylinder will turn which can be made integral with the handle by pushing it against the pins (5) made for this purpose in the handle (I).

 FIG - 6 - also alternatively shows in section a simple snap device, showing in (I) the handle, in (3) (3) the cylinder inside which will be introduced a tube (9) which will be fixed by screws (I0) on the cover (II) and at the end of the cylinder making it integral with the cylinder (3). Inside the tube will be introduced the axis (2) which can be blocked by the pin (6) thus making the handle and the cylinder integral.

 FIG - 7 - represents in (8) the canvas and rubber support or removable sleeve lined with metal or other inclined strands which will be placed on the periphery of the cylinder.

 FIG - 8 - shows the same card surrounded on 2/3 of its ptriphery by a protective casing (I5) directing on the strands and on the skin of the fur or on the carpet on the ground, that is to say dust extraction, or the distribution of the hot air sent.
