Abstract

The coded switching device for switching a security system on and off has a decade rotary and push-button switch (18) for entering a code word. The code word is stored in a read/write memory (2) of a microcomputer (1 to 4). The code is set by means of the aforesaid switch and compared in the central processor unit (1) of the microcomputer with the stored code word and, when they correspond the security system is deactivated. The program of the microcomputer is stored in a programmable read-only memory (3) and consists of a component for initial storage of a code word, a component for changing the code word, a component for setting the code word and a component for rejecting the code word. The coded switching device has a large degree of flexibility and requires low supply-system power.
