Abstract

The noise insulator comprises a cover (10) which is positioned underneath the conveyor and sliding sections (16a, 16b) over the top. The former is hinged (11) longitudinally and has catches (12) to close onto the conveyor structure. This lower cover has a rigid plastics outer panel (10a) with a plastics foam lining (10b) and an inner liner (10c). The sliding sections are alternately large (16a) and small (16b), normally covering the conveyor but sliding under or over each other for access. They are double-walled and made from a rigid transparent plastics material. Tracks (14a, 14b) are mounted on the conveyor structure.
