Abstract

Typically used in the making of demountable tool racks, the clip-on bracket (3) may secure a suspension hook (1e) on a peg board (P). The hook has a horizontal arm (1e) and a square down-turned tail (2e). Each bracket leg (3e) passes through a peg board hole (6) and has rectangular section transverse notches (4e) which house the hole edges (E), and include cranked 'V' bar springs (12) which secure their engagement. The apex (17) of the spring points diametrically away from the notch and presses on the opposite side (E1) of a hole, its legs being located by an axial bar groove (16) which provides restraint in the lateral sense.
