Abstract

The toboggan is for use on ice or snow and for use on water. It has a base made of rigid material which is hollowed out in the centre and rounded at the ends. The extremities of the base are curved up to produce the shape of a skate. Supple removable pads are fixed on the base with straps. Transparent inflatable cushions can be placed to allow underwater observation and the pads can be used as floats. When used on ice or snow the pads and cushions are arranged to form a back rest.
