Abstract

In the case of a pipe clamp having a retaining body (1, 2) bent from a metal strip and having a connecting member (5) for connecting the ends (3, 4) of the retaining body, the latter comprises two retaining-body parts which are connected to each other by a connecting strap (10) which forms a type of articulation and exhibits compliant properties. The connecting strap is essentially arranged such that the retaining-body parts are all approximately the same length on their circumference. A pipe clamp of this type may be bent in order to receive a pipe of large diameter. It is not deformed when the pipe is suspended.
