Abstract

The combined sun-visor, vanity and rear view mirror is for vehicles. The visor (8) is adjustable in both side and vertical planes and includes a light source (10) which is automatically operated when the visor is in the appropriate position. The mirror (4) has an anti-dazzle filter (5) which can be slid across its face. All the components are carried on a rectangular plate covered in some decorative material such as vinyl. The light source (23), which can be omitted, is housed in a recess in the upper part of the visor and is powered by a switch (26) at one side. A translucent panel diffuses the light from the lamp. The anti-dazzle filter moves horizontally across the mirror and has a blade (13) which opens the light switch in its fully inserted position.
