Abstract

Inside the housing(10, 11) a work roll(1) is fitted with a shaft of choke(2) and the number of work rolls(1) are equal to the number of chokes(2). Each choke(2) has side surfaces(3 and 4) and a shaft (5) of the work roll(1) is fixed with the side surface(3) of the choke(2). The above mechanism is used for treating nonferrous alloy contg. W, Mo, N, Ti or Cu with a continuous hot-rolling step thereby producing round rod or wire.
