Abstract

The yieldable plough body mounting for a reversible plough has an arm carrying a plough body (11) in an operative position. It is pivoted (42) for universal movement to support (2, 20) on the plough beam (3). The forward end (13) of the arm has pivotal ball contact points (12, 22) with the support plates hexagonally or similarly arranged about an axis co-axial with the pivotal connection. Pivotal movement of the arm is able to take place about an adjacent pair of pivot ball contact points for vertically upward or upwardly inclined yielding movement against the action of return spins (4) acting between the arm and support.
