Abstract

The cubicle system allows extension in line or rows in e.g. telecommunications installations, where it is useful, for access, to be able to open the doors through more than 90 deg., and preferably to be able to fold them back against adjacent cubicles. The proposed doors have a raise U-profile section (7, 8) running vertically down both the hinge and lock edges of the door (2). The axis of the door hinge runs centrally through the profile (7) on the hinge edge. This permits the door, when opening, to swing out from the cubicle front line and thus open through approximately 180 deg. The hinge pin at the bottom (10) is fixed. The corresponding pin (11) at the top fits into a vertically movable member on the door. This allows the hinge pin (11) to be disengaged for removal of the door if required.
