Abstract

The adjustable-length leg for a pair of spectacles comprises a foot-section (2) with a hinge, and also on its inside face, a lateral guide (5) and a lengthwise adjustment peg (8). A leg-section (6) fits onto the foot, and had two portions (9,10) spaced apart in the lengthwise direction and working with the guide and adjuster. The latter can be mounted on a narrow bar formed on the foot-section, and comprises a boss fitting in a complementary aperture (17,17a) in the leg-section.
