Abstract

The system maintains a clean and monitored atmosphere in the cab of a vehicle etc. working in unpleasant conditions. It comprises spare bottles of fresh air, and detectors for oxygen and carbonic gas. The cab can be pressurised under the control of a calibrated valve, and filter cartridges can be provided to eliminate the carbonic gas. Pure oxygen or fresh air can be injected from the bottles to recondition the atmosphere.
