Abstract

The machine has a conveyor, carrying the trays past an electronic counter which triggers off the closing cycle for the trays. The trays are positioned on a movable frame with fixed side beams carrying a mobile frame across the tray. The mobile frame stretches a cover over the top of the tray by independent levers. The covered trays are glued to hold the covers in position before conveying them to the end of the machine. The tray passes through a light beam which stops the cycle before the next tray starts.
