Abstract

The bolt (5) housed in a box (1) is offset at the back and forms a notched extension (7) which receives one end of a moving element (12). The other end of the element has a circular hole with one flat side to suit the cross section of the connecting rod (14, 16) so that they are held firmly together. Moving the bolt to the left locks the furniture at this point and as the extension (7) moves to the left it turns the loop (12) about its axis, turning rod (14, 16) which has hooks (15) at its ends forming another two closing points for the furniture.
