Abstract

Each packing container is made up of a single sheet of cardboard. The cardboard is folded to form a trough with support tabs (36) at one end and along the sides (30). The trough follows the shape of the bottle having a neck (12) and a base (31). The trough covers half the bottle. The containers may be stored in rows end for end and may also be stacked end for end on their support tabs. The inside of each container is fitted with anti abrasive material.
