Abstract

The washer comprises a pump (5, 6), its outlet connected (3) to rotating sprays (2) inside the milk storage vessel (1). The pump inlet is connected into the bottom (9) of the vessel. This pipe also has a water storage tank (18) connected (17) into it, level switches (19, 20) controlling hot and cold water intakes. This water is cold for the first washing process and is immediately available. A programmer then admits detergent from another tank (28), equipped with a ball valves (29a) preventing air ingress and this is used with the warm contents of the water tank for rinsing.
