Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de craquage de charge hydrocarbonée contenant des constituants à noyaux aromatiques et des constituants à noyaux non aromatiques. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en contact ladite charge avec une composition catalytique : 1. caractérisée par une teneur en métal alcalin inférieure à environ 1,5 % en poids, et 2. comprenant un mélange de faujasite et de mordénite dans lequel le rapport pondéral faujasite/mordénite est compris dans la gamme approximative de 30/1 et 1/5, ledit contact se produisant dans des conditions de craquage catalytique, à savoir, une température comprise entre 482 et 649 degrés C, une pression comprise entre la pression atmosphérique et 70 kg/cm**2, une durée du contact de l'huile et du catalyseur de l'ordre de 0,5 seconde à environ 15 mn, et un rapport pondéral catalyseur/huile compris entre 1 et 20, l'activité du catalyseur et les conditions étant contrôlées de sorte que la sévérité du taux de conversion dépasse celle qui est attribuée à la conversion de la partie de noyaux non aromatiques de ladite charge avec un rendement en coke résultant inférieur à celui que l'on obtient avec le même catalyseur en l'absence de mordénite au même niveau de conversion. Elle se rapporte au craquage de charges pétrolières.
