Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation par gélification de caoutchoucs cellulaires à base d'un latex. La plage de gel d'agents gélifiants à action acide retardée, tels que le silicofluorure de sodium, dans des formulations cellulaires de latex étalées en couche, destinées à être gélifiées par l'action d'un chauffage préliminaire avant le séchage, est sensiblement élargie par l'incorporation à la formulation d'un sulfamate hydrosoluble d'ammonium ou d'amine. On doit utiliser au moins 0,5 partie en poids de sulfamate pour 100 parties en poids de latex non formulé sur base sèche. Ce composé peut être ajouté au latex à tout moment avant ou pendant l'étape de formulation et il est de préférence ajouté avec une proportion de 0,5 à 1 partie d'un savon par partie de sulfamate et aussi avec une quantité suffisante d'hydroxyde d'ammonium ou d'un autre composé libérant de l'ammoniac pour maintenir le pH de la composition formulée de latex à une valeur égale ou supérieure à 9,5. Application industrielle à différents latex de caoutchouc naturels et synthétiques.
