Abstract

The roof extension assembly for attachment to the cab roof of a commercial vehicle, comprises a rigid housing fitted internally with a sleeping berth and an attachment collar attached to and projecting inwardly from the lowereedge of the housing. The collar being adapted for attachment to the cab roof and has a surface portion which conforms to the outer surface of the cab roof surrounding an opening in the roof. The attachment collar rests on a laterally outwardly projecting flange formed by removal of the outer upstanding wall of a peripheral rain gutter of the cab roof.
