Abstract

Convertisseur de mouvement linéaire-rotatif à pistons à mouvements alternatifs. Des cylindres 10, 12, 16, 18 sont opposés deux à deux autour d'un carter étanche 14 et des tiges de piston 22 portant des pistons 20 sont articulés respectivement en des points 26 et 28 espacés d'un élément rectiligne ayant un point médian 30; ce dernier est lui-même articulé sur un plateau 34 ayant un axe de rotation qui est perpendiculaire aux axes communs des cylindres opposés et qui est rencontré par ces derniers axes. Les pistons 20 imposent aux points 26 et 28 des mouvements alternés le long de deux axes orthogonaux qui se traduisent par une rotation continue du point intermédiaire 30 et du plateau 34.Reciprocating piston linear-rotary motion converter. Cylinders 10, 12, 16, 18 are opposed in pairs around a sealed housing 14 and piston rods 22 carrying pistons 20 are articulated respectively at points 26 and 28 spaced apart from a rectilinear member having a midpoint 30; the latter is itself articulated on a plate 34 having an axis of rotation which is perpendicular to the common axes of the opposite cylinders and which is met by these latter axes. The pistons 20 impose on the points 26 and 28 alternating movements along two orthogonal axes which result in a continuous rotation of the intermediate point 30 and of the plate 34.
