Abstract
The door security peephole allows the observer not to reveal his presence and has a manually operated variable diameter line of sight. The peephole has a protruding bell mouthed flexible eyepiece which blocks light going out from the observers side when an eye is placed to it. The central box has a small observation hole which can be blocked by the rotating serrated edge disc, while the latter also has a small observation hole which can be aligned gradually with the first hole to provide a variable diameter line of sight.
