Abstract
The valve which includes a valve body (11) and a cover (12) has an upstream port (26) and a downstream port (20) and two parallel fluid flow passages (45, 23) interconnecting the ports. An adjustable differential pressure valve (47) is mounted in a first one of the two parallel flow passges for reducing the upstream pressure of fluid entering the upstream port to provide a reduced downstream pressure at the downstream pressure port. A check valve (39) is mounted in the second one of the two parallel fluid flow passages and checks the flow of fluid through the second one of the two parallel fluid flow passages when fluid is flowing through the first one of the two parallel fluid flow passages, and to allow flow of fluid through the second one of the two parallel fluid flow passages when fluid is exhausted into the downstream port and out the upstream pressure port.
