Abstract

Paint removing and descaling compsn. comprises a mixt. of methylene chloride (I), trichloroethylene (II) and sodium cresolate (III), (I) and (II) being in equal amts. and (III) forming 8-15 pref. 10% of the total volume. Used for cleaning paint guns and similar tools. The tool need only be dipped into the compsn. for about 10 mins. and does not have to be dismantled. The compsn. can also be used for cleaning the cylinder and piston of an I.C. engine.
