Abstract
The pipes (1) from the solar heating panels are buried in a trench (4) filled with cinders (5) and topped wtih stones and gravel. The pipes are coiled to increase the storage capacity. This first trench is surrounded by a second deeper trench (7), filled with fine ash (8) to provide insulation. Underground water is evacuated through a drainage pipe (15). The excavated earth is used to raise the level (17) of the installation and the whole is topped by a slab (16) of insulating concrete forming the foundation of the building.
