Abstract

The pigment powder is supplied to a cruciform head (1) with four pads about the central axis. The pads are each fitted with two slots at right angles to each other to form a cross. The machine has a paper support table which feeds the paper under the powder carrier. A second head (2) is fitted with wiper pads to remove excess pigment and is mounted downstream of the supply head. The heads are capable of reciprocating motion over the paper.
