Abstract

The handle consists of a harnd grip (1) which has two sloping sides (3) and a shaped hand bar (4). The hand gap has a spindle (2) which passes under bridge attachments (10) fixed to the lid (8) at each end. The spindle (2) carries a number of square bosses (5) spaced along it. The bosses locate the handle vertically upwards or horizontal so that the handle cannot rock. The lid is fixed to the container by a flange.
