Abstract

The anti-slip sole is for boots or shoes such as safety shoes or fishing boots, and allows the user to walk on any slippery surface. It has metal lattice incorporated in the rubber sole by vulcanisation, injection or other similar processes. The lattice is made from steel spirals and its hundreds of projections adhere to ice or slippery ground. The sole is supple and allows the lattice to adapt to the slightest roughness of the ground.
