Abstract

The self-locking anchoring bolt is suitable for embedding in concrete etc. It has an elongated locking element (5) located in a recess (3) in the bolt shaft (1). The element has a headpiece (6) inclined transverse to the shaft. The recess has a correspondingly inclined surface (4) for swivelling the locking element about its longitudinal axis when there is relative movement between the shaft part (1) and locking element (5). The design ensures that the bolt achieves optimum locking action.
