Abstract

The servo unit (11) comprises a main body (12) contg. two independent pressure chambers (14, 15). Each has an end wall (18, 26) which is movable by a pressure differential to move an element (25) between two limit positions via a lost-motion link (24), permitting return of the wall when there is no pressure differential. The chambers and walls are coaxially arranged and act in opposite directions. One wall (26) is secured to a bracket (31) which acts directly on the element (25) and bridges the other wall (18) so that the other wall (18) is movable independently from the bracket.
