Abstract

Terminal and distribution blocks are used in electrical transmission distribution systems. It accommodates a given number of lines, there are first and second elements to conduct the current for each line. They are held on a row of insulating supports. The first extremity of the first support extends into an entry post or constitutes this entry post in its entirety. The two mating extremities of the two elements cooperate directly or via the intermediary of a functional and protection module. Entry and exit posts are disposed on opposite faces of the distribution blocks. The first and second elements are preformed from suitable material.
