Abstract

The amphibious caravan can also be used as a house boat. It has a rigid, folding, dwelling section (2). A water-tight shell can be fitted to the rear of this, on the face with the door. Together, these form a house boat. On the road, the shell is fitted in front, which protects it. Both habitable part and shell are mounted on an articulated chassis. This aids launching on to water. Retractable wheels (12) are fitted in the lower portion of the habitable part.
