Abstract

The height of the sink-unit cupboard is adjusted using wedges (5, 6) fixed to the top of the cupboard. By fixing the wedges (5, 6) to the top edge of the side panels (1) of the unit, the cupboard height remains the same as the units next to it. The piece for raising the unit may, alternatively consists of an inverted U-shaped piece, the sides of which extend along, and are fixed to, the top of the side panels. After the unit has been raised, a strip (3) is fixed partly covering the top strip over the space between the sink and unit.
