Abstract
A contact strip is used for manual operation of a control and has three switching positions. It consists of a rubber hose with contact strips made from electrically conducting material. The contact strips are installed on the inner wall extending along the entire length. The hose (1-6) has three relatively rigid longitudinal walls (2, 4, 6) and each wall has a rigidly attached conductor (7, 8, 9). The three rigid longitudinal walls are interconnected by flexible wall zones (1, 3, 5) and one of the conductor strips (7) is wider than the other two. Conductors are vulcanized to the wall of the hose.
