Abstract

L'invention concerne un radar destiné à former deux faisceaux dont l'un se trouve à une hauteur supérieure à celle de l'autre. Elle se rapporte à un radar qui forme deux impulsions radar successives l'une plus longue que l'autre, et à un commutateur qui, en fonction de la distance, sélectionne le faisceau et la d'impulsion afin que, pour les faibles distances, l'impulsion courte soit utilisée avec le faisceau supérieur et pour les grandes distances l'impulsion longue soit utilisée avec le faisceau inférieur seulement, les autres combinaisons étant utilisées pour les distances intermédiaires. Application aux radars de détection de cibles aériennes.
