Abstract

Pour préparer des noyaux et des moules de fonderie, on mélange un liant constitué d'un polyol, obtenu de façon générale par alcoxylation d'une amine, un polyisocyanate et une amine tertiaire catalytique; le liant est particulièrement utile pour couler des métaux non ferreux par exemple l'aluminium, le magnésium et autres; les noyaux et moules pour la coulée de l'aluminium et des autres métaux légers présentent d'excellentes caractéristiques d'élimination par secousses et d'autres propriétés souhaitables. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la formation de pièces coulées en métaux légers avec des articles de fonderie preparés selon le procédé en boîte froide.
